The Green Industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of agriculture in Ohio.  The ABE’s Green Industry Center programs include: the Commercial Horticulture Program, the Floriculture Program and the Hydroponic Vegetable Program.  We provide programming to the industry in the areas of business management, business planning, marketing, horticulture, labor management and issues of compliance. The Green Industry Center's focus on these programs is dedicated to increasing the profitability and sustainability of the green industry in Ohio, through individualized consultations and customized, research-based educational programming.

We are a part of the outreach arm for The Ohio State University and it is our job to make the resources of The University available to all of the Green Industry in the area of horticulture and its related fields, including agronomy, entomology, and plant pathology, so that commercial producers can be more efficient in growing plants, and be mindful of environmental stewardship.
